Fun Fabric Scraps Friends

Linnea and I spent a crafty afternoon with some fabric scraps and my sewing machine and tested some ideas for small friendly and funny creatures.

She really loved the process and the results she achieved.

How to start: collect some fabric scraps in different colours, they need to be approx. 15cm.

Cut different shapes, as half circles, rectangles or ellipses in 2 layers.

Sew the same shapes together and leave a part ope for the filling, turn around, fill and close.

Now the fun starts with decorating and creating a character.

We used felt shapes that are easy to attach with textile glue, a glue gun or a few stitches.

We also used ribbon for longer legs and arms and dresses some of our creatures with smaller fabric pieces.
